”Saved By Hope” • Romans 8:18-30  - Elder Bryce Lowrance
Elder Bryce preaches a companion message to his series on the book of 1st Peter with a similar topic by the Apostle Paul in the Roman letter.
In this passage, we learn that God is not only aware of our struggles and trials as His children in this fallen world, He is with us and helps us in those trials. Since He has predestined us to be with Him, we will be with Him for all eternity. And while we live, here, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are working together to give us hope in the promise of Christ’s return for us. This hope saves us from the despair of living in a world that is not our home.

While we live in this present world, we are to walk and act like Christ. We are representatives for Jesus in this fallen world. As we interact with others in this world, we should be putting forth a good example of righteousness so that ultimately God receives more glory when He comes into the lives of others.
"The Eternal Word of God" • John 1:1 - Brother Jonah Lowrance
John opens his gospel with a huge amount of information. He very quickly and plainly states that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and is One with God the Father. We are adopted sons. Jesus is the eternal Son. Anytime anyone has seen the face of God in the Bible, they have seen Jesus Christ.

Do you know your purpose in life? The Bible makes it clear to us that the child of God’s purpose is to build his life upon Jesus Christ. Further, we are to realize that we are the temple of God in His spriitual kingdom here on earth. It  is our duty to join with other lively stones and be the center of praise to our reigning King.

”Woe unto Them~” • Isiah 5  - Brother Jonah Lowrance
God greatly delivered Israel from bondage in Egypt but they forgot that deliverance and lived like the people whom God had driven out before them. We are in danger of doing the same thing when we forget how gracious God is to us and we make excuses for our behavior. This is calling evil good and good evil.

Seeing that we have been born again by the essential Word Jesus Christ, we should desire to learn more and more about our Savior from the written word, the Bible.

Peter’s grand conclusion of how we should live our lies as resident aliens in this fallen world is to love like Jesus loves. Seeing that we are born again by the Word which is Jesus, we have been given the ability and desire to love others with a pure heart.

"Where is Your Faith and Hope?" • 1st Peter 1:17-21 - Elder Bryce Lowrance
Seeing that we are already redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, we should consider our lives precious to God, and live in the promise that we are in God's sovereign hands. Therefore, we can have purpose in our lives. We are to live FOR God because we will be with Him forever. Our faith and hope is not in our feeble efforts. Our faith and hope should rest in God.

"God's Plan" • Isaiah 2 - Brother Jonah Lowrance
While Judah would be taken captive because of disobedience, God encourages them to repentance and to take heart because He will not forsake His people. Isaiah's vision of the kingdom of God showed the full timeline of redemptive history. The last days encompass the first advent of Christ when He came and died for our sins. The work will be completed when Christ returns at the end of time. Then, all wars shall cease, and God's people will be redeemed to Him forever.
"How Do We Sojourn Here? • 1st Peter 1:17 - Elder Bryce Lowrance
God is our Father but He is not a pushover like some many fathers are portrayed on TV and in movies. He is still Holy and righteous, and He expects His children to act that way as well. God will judge against the works of the wicked at the end of time and punish them with everlasting torment. But He imputes the righteousness of Jesus Christ to the elect and redeems them to glory. With this in mind, how do we live? Do we live like the spoiled brat screaming at Walmart, or do we bow to the almighty sovereign hand of God, and in thankfulness live to His glory?

The gospel is not a philosophical argument. It is the very food on which the children of God live. It is transferred from faith to faith by the Holy Spirit when the gospel is preached in its purity.

God is completely separate from this world. He has chosen us out of this world. He has separated us from this world in the new birth. And He calls on us to live separate from the influences of this world.
