"Bad Shepherds & The Good Shepherd" • John 9:35-10:11 - Brother Jonah Lowrance.
Often the popular religion of the day does a horrible job of caring for the people of God. But Jesus, the Good Shepherd, loves the elect of God and gave Himself for them.
"Hear, Believe, Do" • Hebrews 11:32e-34 - Elder Bryce Lowrance. All of the examples of faith in Hebrews 11 show how the children of God not only listened to the word of God, they believed, and ACTED on it. By the faith that is given to us in the new birth, we are able to trust the promises of God and conquer our spiritual enemies.

"Jepthae" • Hebrews 11:32d - Elder Bryce Lowrance -
Preaching from Judges 10-12, Elder Lowrance shows that God can and does use people from various backgrounds. Even though Jepthae was driven away from his father's house by his half-brothers, he became a great deliverer of Israel and head over his brethren. Infamously remembered for his foolish vow, the story of Jepthae reminds us that we should still trust God and His word even when we are filled with the Holy Spirit. We are not a liberty to say and do whatever we want.

"Samson" • Hebrews 11:32c & Judges 13-16 - Elder Bryce Lowrance.
Samson is a clear case of the sovereignty of God in deliverance. God set a side Samson from before he was born, and despite his continual disobedience and horrible choices, God uses him to deliver Israel from the Philistines.

"The First Resurrection" • John 5 & Revelation 20 - Brother Jonah Lowrance.
Brother Jonah shows the clear connection between the new birth mentioned in John 5 and the first resurrection mentioned in Revelation 20. Both of these are caused by the voice of Jesus Christ and both ensure that the children of God will not come into the condemnation of the second death.
 
"Barak" • Hebrews 11:32 & Judges 4 - Elder Bryce Lowrance -
Barak is an interesting example of faith because his faith was mixed with some fear. He does not allow his fear to stop him but uses faith to continue trusting in the promise of God. Even though a woman receives the glory of the victory over Sisera, Barak believes the word of God and leads 10,000 foot soldiers against the mighty iron chariots of Sisera.

"Have a Little Talk with Myself" • Psalm 43 - Elder Bryce Lowrance
Psalm 43 is very similar to Psalm 42 and may have been written on the same occasion or trial in David's life. In this Psalm we see that David does not dwell on his dire situation and whine in self pity. He calls on God for help. He desires to get back to public worship. And he preaches to himself that God is strength and help.

"Gideon" • Hebrews 11:32a - Elder Bryce Lowrance
When God came to Gideon he was threshing wheat hiding behind a winepress but God did not see him as a coward. God called Gideon a mighty man of valor because of what God was going to do with him! When we walk by faith and feel the fellowship of God in our lives, we can better understand how God views us as perfect through the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ.

"We Can Trust the Bible" • Various Scriptures - Brother Jonah Lowrance.
The resurrection of Christ is true; it is history. It is not some far-fetched story requiring more evidence for us to believe. The word of God gives us all we need to have confidence in this truth. In scripture we see prophesies from David, Daniel, and Isaiah that were fulfilled and the testimony of eye witnesses to Christ’s resurrection. 
"Faith at Jericho" • Hebrews 11:30-31 - Elder Bryce Lowrance
The next example of faith the Apostle uses in Hebrews is two-fold. The Israelites trusted the word of God that He would give them the city of Jericho if they simply walked around the city. Rahab believed God would give the Israelites the city as well, so she hid the spies and made a contract with them to spare her. Both believed that God would deliver them. One was delivered when the walls fell. The other was delivered when the walls stayed up!

"Crossing the Red Sear" • Hebrews 11:29 - Elder Bryce Lowrance.
The next example of faith that the Apostle gives in Hebrews is when the children of Israel crossed through the Red Sea on dry ground. This amazing example of trusting the word of God had the Israelites step into the midst of towering waters to escape the hands of Pharaoh.

“Moses the Deliverer” • Hebrews 11:27-28 – Elder Bryce Lowrance. The Apostle Paul continues showing how faith is fully trusting the words and promises of God by showing that Moses faithfully returned from the dessert to boldly deliverer the children of Israel from their bondage in Egypt.
